I am a small, in-home show/breeding kennel, in Weston Ohio (15 miles from Bowling Green). All my dogs live in my house under foot and on the furniture. I started showing basset hounds in 1998, with my youngest daughter Tasha. Since then, we have owned and produced several wonderful family companions as well champions/grand champions and Best in Show winners, in AKC, UKC and IABCA. From 2010 to 2018 I focused on my grooming business (Anew Doo Pet Salon). In 2018 I decided it was time to get back into the ring. I started out with standard poodles in UKC. I am proud to say, the poodles I’ve produced have gone on to work in all fields, conformation, performance, hunt, therapy/service work, ESA and family companion.  I breed for health, temperament, intelligence and structure. Every litter was carefully planned, all puppies were raised with ENS, ESI and some puppy culture all while living in my living room. I had a licensed trainer do temperament testing at 9 weeks to ensure the right puppies were going to the right homes. As much as I love poodles my heart has always longed for bassets. In 2022, I went back to my roots and purchased a basset from a breeder I had worked with in the past. Moving forward, I am concentrating on breeding the best bassets. The plan is to produce bassets that can do it all, family companion, hunting and show dogs!!! Please enjoy this site and all our wonderful dogs, past, present and future!
